Assalam Alaikum, 

 

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year.  We are excited to start another school year's journey with your child.  This year, we are excited to welcome the returning and the new students to a school campus.  I'm also thrilled to welcome the returning and the new staff to the 2023-2024 school year.  

 

Our fantastic support staff has worked tirelessly over the summer to prepare the classrooms for the new school year.  I'm grateful to have such a fantastic support staff that ensured the school building looked amazing in welcoming the students to their first day of school.  

 

Al-Arqam Islamic School & College Preparatory's mission is to educate the whole child.  We at Al-Arqam are dedicated to ensuring that the mission becomes evident in all of our daily practices, from starting the day with the morning azkhar, holding students responsible for high academic values, to ensure the well-being of the students.  The schoolwide learning outcomes (SLO), are to think critically, observe and live Islam, rigorous and engaging curriculum, communicate effectively, and have global mindedness.  

 

I believe in the importance of meeting with families and ensuring they are an essential component of the school's operation.  I will continue to hold the monthly coffee with the principal insha'Allah.  I encourage all parents to be active by signing in to their child's Schoology account.
