Accreditation at Al-Arqam Islamic School & College Preparatory

  • During the school year of 2018-2019, AL-Arqam participated in its third self-study.  A team of experienced educators visited the school in early March of 2019 to evaluate the school for further future accreditation.  The school has been engaged in self-examination of its practices for the past three years in preparation for the third self-study.  In May of 2019, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) granted Al-Arqam Islamic School & College Preparatory a six years term of accreditation that spans to 2025.  
  • During the school year of 2012-2013, Al-Arqam Islamic School & College Preparatory was granted a renewal of the 6-year term of accreditation with a mid-cycle visit from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Al-Arqam submitted a school second self-study with the involvement of all the stakeholders. The self-study involved a deep understanding of the school's purpose, mission, vision, and school-wide learning outcomes (SLOs).
